This is a question that many artists have worried about as A.I. becomes more advanced. A.I. can be a great tool to use for designers in their careers, but it is not really a threat to anybody's jobs in its current state....

Is artificial intelligence smart enough to replace designers?

A.I. often has trouble generating specific features and body parts. One trait A.I. has yet to perfect is hands. For some reason, A.I. has difficulty generating hands properly. It will often merge fingers together, merge hands, or even sprout new hands that do not make any sense anatomically. Usually, the best way to spot if an image is A.I. generated is to look at the hands.

With these images being made artificially, there is often an uncanny valley type of look to most generations produced by A.I. At first glance the image looks quite high quality, but the more you look, the more you realize something is just... off.

On top of the weird uncanny style that comes with some generations, A.I. also struggles with producing text. It can often come out as a scrambled version of what you wanted it to say, or simply just be intelligible nonsense.
